At Mattie Lu, our niche is to sell fine hardwood Amish furniture. We want to make certain your experience is positive from start to finish. We coordinate the details of your custom order with the Amish builder(s) as well as the shipping details with professional furniture movers. FURNITURE DELIVERY (CONTIGUOUS U.S.)
Mattie Lu offers three options for furniture delivery within the contiguous 48 states – Curbside, Curbside (Flat Rate) and White Glove (Flat Rate). It is our goal that your Amish furnishings will arrive at your home or office ready to enjoy. The professional movers we use are experienced in delivering Amish furniture across the country. When it is time to ship the furniture to your home or office, each piece will be carefully wrapped and padded reducing the possibility of damage. We want to protect your furniture and our planet, and reuse furniture pads and blankets for multiple deliveries. Whenever possible, we avoid the use of plastic wraps and styrofoam. Your Amish furnishings are fully insured through the movers.
The professional furniture movers we use will contact you upon receipt of your order to schedule delivery and to go over their policies. Please keep in mind that circumstances out of their hands may occur such as weather, traffic, and other uncontrollable/unforeseeable events. Someone 18 years of age or over must be present during delivery. If you fail to keep your confirmed appointment, your delivery may be delayed and you may be subject to additional charges for redelivery/storage.
$299 FLAT RATE CURBSIDE DELIVERY*
Our $299 Flat Rate Curbside Delivery will be made to one location within the contiguous U.S. You must have someone on hand at delivery to unload your furniture. We recommend you have additional help to unload as well as assist with getting your furniture inside your home. It is your responsibility to take the furniture inside your home. Please note that some pieces may require assembly (beds, dining tables, hutches, entertainment centers, corner desks, etcetera).
After unloading and before the driver leaves, you will need to inspect your furniture for damage. Make note of any issues or damage in detail in the appropriate area on the delivery receipt provided by the driver while this individual is still onsite. Sign the document after completing the required documentation. The driver will then sign the document, and give you a copy of the delivery receipt. If your order is missing any pieces, have the driver note the shortage on the delivery receipt before you sign the document. It is important this process is followed in order to complete required insurance claim paperwork for any damage. $499 FLAT RATE WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY*
Our $499 Flat Rate White Glove Delivery service will be made to one location within the contiguous U.S. With our White Glove service, you are able to sit back and relax while the professional furniture movers do the work. The delivery team will unload every piece of furniture, carefully unpack each item, take the furniture to the correct room(s) in your home or office, and administer light assembly when needed. Please note that the delivery crew will not assemble cribs, outdoor patio structures, marble or stone sink consoles, lighting, mirrors, furniture needing to be mounted to the wall, and any items requiring home installation. After setup is complete, the delivery team will remove any packaging materials utilized in shipping your furniture.
There are situations where the delivery team cannot accommodate delivery to the room of your choice. For example, the furniture is too large to fit through the doorway, narrow space, in the elevator, up the staircase, etcetera. Angles and sharp turns also create challenges for moving large pieces of furniture, and the delivery crew may not be able to physically overcome these challenges. Therefore, advanced planning and measuring is crucial.
After setup of your order and before the delivery team leaves, you should inspect each piece of furniture for damage. Damage is rare. However, you are responsible for properly describing any and all damages at the time of delivery to the delivery crew, so they can complete appropriate paperwork to file an insurance claim.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Oversize shipping charges may apply to some items due to large size or bulkiness.

ALASKA, HAWAII AND INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE DELIVERY
International orders are payable in U.S. currency. Customers are responsible for any duties, taxes and fees that may apply.
We do not offer flat rate shipping for orders outside of the contiguous U.S. A shipping quote for Alaska, Hawaii, or international deliveries will be generated and sent separately from your order. Processing of your delivery charge will be done pending your approval. Please allow up to 48 hours for your shipping quote to be emailed to you.
